Grant W. Simmons

Associate Attorney

Grant works as an associate attorney for Kuhn, Heap & Monson. His primary concentrations are in Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Contracts, and Corporate Law. Grant has also practiced in the areas of Bankruptcy and Debt Restructuring.

Grant earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law. As a student at Iowa, Grant was an Articles Editor for the Journal of Corporation Law. He earned his Bachelor of History at the University of Michigan – where he studied Medieval and Early Modern History.

Grant is a member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, DuPage Bar Association, and the Illinois Bar Association. He is also licensed to appear in all three Federal District Courts located in Illinois.

Grant was born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. He has fond memories of working on Mackinac Island in the summer and returns to visit his family often. Grant also enjoys Michigan athletics (Go Blue), cooking, and hiking with his wife, son, and two dogs.
